Last Week a writer at the Weekly Standard pondered the future of the GOP and suggested that the future lay in the hands of Willard Milton Romney. With the Neoconservative wing on the outside looking in for the first time in 8 years, Mittens seemed the best bet to regain ascendency in 2012. This being especially so since their chosen heir apparent had failed in all but her fashion sense.
Economic times are tough and projections are not promising, so a fellow like Willard Romney, with a background in Business, may just be the fellow for the job.
This was not unpredictable.
Now the predictable is starting to be confirmed as reports suggest that Mittens is gearing up for another run. Early I know, but the prospect of having Mittens to kick around for the next 4 years, comes as welcome news.
