Corker Doctrine Update

Still no word on whether or not Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) has put his support behind S 360, measure to limit executive compensation to $400,000 at companies that take federal bailout funds.

The legislation has been referred to the Senate Banking Committee for action with no co-sponsors to date.  And as so  it happens, Senator Corker sits on the Senate Banking Commitee.

Time for Corker to step up and throw his support behind this effort.  I mean if the Corker Doctrine which holds that:
Workers at troubled American companies should earn no more in pay, benefits and BONUSES than workers employed at comparable foreign companies,
is to be taken seriously, it must be applied to Executive Compensation as well. And Bob Corker is just the man to do it.

He's Probably got the hang of it by now. So give'em another chance. And with the Supreme Court and the good Lord on his side, why not give it a try. Write in Bush.
