"Vichy Republican"

Definition:

A Republican who believes Sarah Palin is not a credible and/or qualified candidate for High National Office.

Used in a Sentence:

After winking her way through a Vice Presidential Debate and bumbling through an interview with Katie Couric, some Republican Voters began to believe Sarah Palin's most redeeming quality was that, compared to her, she made George Bush look like a Great Statesman.

Unfortunately this also led these voters to question whether Sarah Palin was ready to be a heart beat away from the Presidency of the United States of America. These Republican Voters are collaborators against THE CAUSE and are disloyal "Vichy Republicans" named after the accursed effete French who collaborated with the Nazis during World War II which is just about the same thing as not voting for an unqualified Republican.
