Quote of the Day: --- UPDATED

Way Back Then:

"When you have a man who has the decency, the legal ability and the capacities that Judge Alito has treated this way, I think it's despicable."

Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, condemning the "very bitter partisanship" of the Democrats over Judge Sam Alito's nomination to the High Court.

Orrin has posited that he’s voted against two or three judges in his 27 years. What will he do on the Sotomayor nomination?

UPDATE: Apparently this is the first Justice Orrin will vote against. Orrin voted for Judge Thomas and was a big fan of Harriet Miers. Orrin won't vote for Sotomayor. Orrin has his reasons. Maybe Orrin will tell what those reasons are someday.

He's Probably got the hang of it by now. So give'em another chance. And with the Supreme Court and the good Lord on his side, why not give it a try. Write in Bush.
