Apparently it is your choice to be unemployed. Bet you didn't know that.
This is the message from large numbers of GOP leaders like Tom Delay and presumably senators like Lamar Alexander (R-TN), Richard Burr (R-NC), Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Jefferson Beauregard Sessions, III (R-AL.) who voted to deny temporary unemployment insurance benefits to the jobless.
With 10% unemployment, I don’t think it is a winning message to blame voters for being unable to find work. I don’t think it was the voters that deregulated Wall Street and then turned a blind eye to as these Banksters gambled away our future.
Now that I think about it is was people like Tom Delay, Lamar Alexander (R-TN), Richard Burr (R-NC), Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Jefferson Beauregard Sessions, III (R-AL.) who are more to blame for the jobless rate.
