Latino Vote turns away Sharron Angle

Racism Doesn’t Save the Day for Angle:

Results of the Latino Decisions Nevada election eve poll will be posted Tuesday November 2nd at 8:00pm mountain time. The poll is co-sponsored with the National Council of La Raza, SEIU, and America’s Voice.

Latino vote for Senate

Harry Reid: 90%

Sharron Angle: 8%

Latino share of voters: 12%

Latino contribution to H. Reid: +9.8

Reid won by 5 points with exit polls showing that Latino folks carried him across the finish line.

So, it appears, that Angle’s Racist Ads picturing Latino men crossing the southern border and menacing White folks backfired. Yes I know, Angle later claimed she was trying to depict the Northern Border and Scary Canadians and/or Generic Asians in the ads. Or whatever, she wasn't quite sure she said.

No wonder GOP outfits were running ads urging Latinos to show everyone who is boss by not voting.

Stupid.

It looks, however, like enough Latino folks stood up and made their voices heard and it wasn’t by boycotting the polls.

I am glad that we won’t have Sharron Angle to kick around anymore. Thanks Guys.

UPDATE: Mayflower Mark, anti-immigration activist at the NRO, points to another poll showing Reid won the Latino vote, but by a 38 point advantage compared to a 80 point. FWIW.

He's Probably got the hang of it by now. So give'em another chance. And with the Supreme Court and the good Lord on his side, why not give it a try. Write in Bush.
