“This is not really about ‘me.’ This is about a full-fledged assault on the 1st Amendment and free speech.”I posted on this odd confusion before, but some of the Wingers have a a real problem figuring out the First Amendment's guarantee of of Freedom of Speech. Many seem to read in a non-existent right to be heard or, in Comrade Breibart's, case appear on a broadcast conducted by a Privately Owned Corporation to say whatever he wants.
~ Andrew Breitbart sharing Sarah Palin's confusion on the First Amendment after learning he won't get an on-air gig at ABC.
This is not a violation of Free Speech. If ABC does not want to provide a platform for Comrade Breitbart to express his views and access to the airwaves, they do not have to. Poor Fellow really should not be confused about this. I understand it when Sarah Palin or Christine O'Donnell make this mistake. But Comrade Breitbart really does not have an excuse.
