The Lame Duck Congress is getting things done and some folks, like Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), doesn’t understand why. Why not wait until next term and negotiate with a whole new batch of republicans?

I can understand it. Looks like ol’ Grahamnesty has not been paying attention to the unwashed Teabaggers that’ll be taking office next term. I wouldn’t want to negotiate with these folks either. How do you negotiate with people like the new Congressman from
According to Roll Call, in court documents:
“Susan DesJarlais accused her former husband of “dry firing a gun outside the Plaintiff’s [her] locked bedroom door, admission of suicidal ideation, holding a gun in his mouth for three hours, an incident of physical intimidation at the hospital; and previous threatening behavior ... i.e. shoving, tripping, pushing down, etc.”
How do you negotiate with this guy? I can just picture him pulling a gun and holding himself hostage on the House Floor. You can’t negotiate under those conditions.
I suspect Lindsey Graham has not been paying attention to the character and quality of his soon to be new colleagues.
