IT'S ALL A GODDAMN CONSPIRACY, I TELL YOU ! ! ! ! !

Hinderaker of Powerline blog yet again (sigh):

The remarkable thing about the anthropogenic global warming hoax is that it isn’t even a close call. Anyone who takes the trouble to investigate the science will quickly learn that the alarmist position is a fraudulent one, driven, I think, by the billions of dollars that are thrown at those who are willing to sell out scientific method in support of the statist line. Hiding the decline is way more lucrative than presenting objective, and unalarming, scientific findings.

Life is not fair. Why is there so much stupid in the world?

This fella’ Hinderaker has had more than his fair share of book learning but yet he chooses to remain ignorant and as petulant as a spoiled child. At some level it almost seems that those hours of book learning should have been reallocated to a more deserving and ultimately more productive member of society. Perhaps a UN panel assigned to allocating education resources could have prevented this tragedy.

One can dream, it is all tin foil hat stuff, anyway. And that is what global global warming conspiracy theory is. It’s tinfoil hat territory. It is a conspiracy theory that requires one to believe that the entire scientific community, the world’s government and business leaders, the Admirals and Generals of America’s Armed forces along with the lowliest bureaucrats, lamestream media figures, bloggers and research assistants are all involved in a dark conspiracy to keep the truth from everybody and nobody is talkin – not even for a Million Bucks to blow the whistle on Foxnews. However dark and sinister this elaborate conspiracy is, it has failed to fool one group of folks – American Wingnuts. They know the truth, and only them.

But the remarkable thing about Hinderaker’s global conspiracy posts, craziness aside, is that when he a chose a new blogger to join Powerline Blog to replace the fella’ that quit after writing offensive things about Native Americans, he picked one who doesn’t buy Hinderaker’s Tinfoil hat theories. Dare I say that Hinderaker picked a member of the Global Warming Conspiracy to post on his blog. The lack of cognitive dissonance is remarkable.

It has got to be hard to be a wingnut. Everyone is against you. Functioning outside of right wing counter culture is increasing difficult and you end up spending your days thinking about how to convince the world that you were right about George Bush being a genius.

What can we do about these poor souls? Perhaps a UN panel addressing adult education would be a start. Alas I fear it will not be enough.

Do you ever wonder why there are no more dinosaurs or Mammoths anymore. The answer really is quite simple. They could not fit onto the Ark. When Noah's flood came they were left behind.
