Willard Leads in Washington

In Washington state a new PPP Poll has Willard Milton Romney in front after trailing Santorum by double digits two weeks ago:

Willard 37%

Santo 32%,

Ronpaul 16%

Newt 13%.

If Romney does end up winning Saturday night it will be a large Mormon vote that puts him over the top. We find that 14% of likely caucus goers are Mormons and 64% of them support Romney to 15% for Paul and 13% for Santorum. Romney actually trails Santorum 35-32 with non-Mormons.

This is a hard call because it is a Caucus. Three of the candidates have a hardcore base to rely on. Willard can call out his co-religionists. Paul can call out the Militia-Types and the Sovereign Citizen Characters. Santorum can call out the evangelical vote that Huck used to win in 2008. Sounds like a toss up to me.

He's Probably got the hang of it by now. So give'em another chance. And with the Supreme Court and the good Lord on his side, why not give it a try. Write in Bush.
