The Grand Old Tea Party is now a radical party that is interested in Revolution. It is not concerned about governing. Actually, since the GOP is morally bankrupt, it should be liquidated - broken up into parts and sold to the highest bidders. Proceeds could be used for public works projects. Part of the GOP could go to the libertarians. Another part, the RINOs could go to the Whig Party. What is left could go to the riff raff (teahadists) and the Neocons.
Actually, it may be time for a Re-emergence of the Whig Party. When the Whig party disintegrated in the 1850s, the Republican Party emerged. If it were up to me as the Bankruptcy Judge, I would shut the GOP down and sell a good part of it the Whigs for cheap because some public good may come of it. I'd gouge the Neocons, libertarians and Teahadists and take them for all the market will bear. If the free market sets the price, then what can you do. You just roll with it.
