…..have not had much
time, if any, to check out all the stupid things that have, undoubtedly, been
going on.
What little time I
have had free has been spent reading Francis Fukayama's new book on political
order. I suspect that it won't make it
into popular culture as Fukayama is a reformed-neocon. This means large numbers
on the right and left won't touch it.
I
also would guess that theoconservatives would find the book's discussion of religion as systems of myth and ritual which evolved over the course of history
due to the ability reinforce social order as downright offensive.
Oh well, you can't
please everyone.
